Welcome to Aurami! These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“User” or “you”) and Aurami (“we,” “our,” or “us”) regarding your use of our mobile application and related services.

By downloading, installing, or using Aurami, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must immediately delete the App.

1. Eligibility

To create an account and use Aurami, you must meet the following criteria:

  • You must be at least 18 years of age.
  • You must be legally permitted to use the App under the laws of your jurisdiction.
  • You have never been convicted of a felony or a registrable sex offense.
  • You have not previously been banned or suspended from Aurami.

2. Account Security

You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials (e.g., phone verification, passwords). You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. Aurami is not liable for losses caused by unauthorized access to your account.

3. Proprietary Interface & Intellectual Property

  • Ownership: All elements of the App—including our proprietary value-mapping algorithms, matching systems, branding, logos, graphics, animations, layouts, and our unique, non-traditional user interface—are the exclusive intellectual property of Aurami and its licensors.
  • License Grant: We grant you a personal, worldwide, royalty-free, non-assignable, and non-exclusive license to use the App solely for personal, non-commercial use as intended by these Terms.
  • Restrictions: You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, or reverse-engineer any part of our software or interface, nor may you scrape or harvest data from the App without our express written consent.

4. User Conduct & Content Guidelines

You retain ownership of the content you upload to Aurami (photos, bios, prompt responses), but you grant us a worldwide, transferable, sub-licensable, royalty-free license to host, store, and display that content on the App.

You agree not to upload content or behave in a manner that:

  • Is offensive, abusive, defamatory, discriminatory, or promotes hatred against any group or individual.
  • Contains nudity, explicit sexual material, or violence.
  • Harasses, bullies, stalks, or intimidates another user.
  • Involves commercial activities, scams, phishing, spamming, or the selling of any goods or services.
  • Impersonates any person or entity, or uses false information to create an account.

Enforcement: Aurami reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to monitor, review, or delete user content, and to suspend or permanently terminate any account that violates these guidelines without a refund or prior notice.

5. Member Safety and Offline Interactions

  • No Background Checks: Aurami does not conduct routine criminal background checks or identity verifications on all of its users.
  • User Responsibility: You are solely responsible for your interactions with other users, both online and offline. Aurami makes no guarantees regarding the behavior, morality, or compatibility of individuals you meet through the App. Always practice standard safety precautions when chatting with or meeting strangers in person.

6. Premium Services and In-App Purchases

Aurami may offer optional premium features, subscriptions, or virtual items for purchase through third-party app stores (e.g., Google Play Store). All purchases are governed by the third-party payment terms. Unless required by local law, all in-app purchases and subscriptions are non-refundable.

7. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

  • “As-Is” Basis: Aurami is provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the reliability, availability, or success of our value-matching system.
  • Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Aurami, its affiliates, employees, and licensors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of profits, or damages resulting from your interactions with other users or your use of the App.

8. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Philippines, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal action or dispute arising out of these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the courts located within The Philippines.
